Race and Rally to Biscay

The organising sub-committee have devised a route and programme which meets the requirements of the French immigration authorities whilst also providing a long offshore race and 3 shorter day races for the racing fleet as well as a very enjoyable programme for rally boats fitting a social programme open to all.
Each of the chosen stop over ports have reserved space for us on the dates shown below and are members of the Passeport Escale scheme providing free berthing for participating boats.
A group immigration login will be arranged for Saturday 27th July from St Quay Portrieux with a log out from Treguier on Saturday August 3rd however boats wishing to arrange their own immigration at other times or ports are free to do so.
A reception, prize giving and dinner will be held at Le Grand Pavois Restaurant at the Marin du Chateau in Brest. It is also anticipated that a further social function will take place on Friday 2nd August in Treguier.
Race & Rally programme:
Saturday 27th July: Fleet muster in St Quay Portrieux.
Sunday 28th July: Race from St Quay to Brest 10.30 B.S.T. start.
Tuesday 30th July: Reception, prize giving and dinner.
Wednesday 1st August: Race or Rally Brest to LAber-Wrach.
Thursday 2nd August: Race or Rally LAber-Wrach to Roscoff.
Friday 3rd Ausust: Race or Rally, Roscoff to Treguier.
Saturday 4th August: fleet dispersal.
N.B. Race participants in the St Quay - Brest leg will require AIS. The return races may be entered separately and will not require AIS.
