NEW CATERING FRANCHISE PARTNERSHIP

At the conclusion of an extensive evaluation process which generated expressions of interest from 12 potential partners the Executive Committee has unanimously agreed to appoint a new franchise partner for the provision of all food and beverage services commencing on 1st October 2018.
La Coquerie Limited is a newly formed business partnership whose principals include two fully qualified chefs, currently employed by the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club and a business manager who have combined to offer a fresh and professional service to our Club. The experience of the new team gained in a comparable club environment coupled with extensive culinary skills will provide new and innovative menus to our offering whilst also respecting the core requirement of service and value for money to members. A permanent head steward will be employed by the partnership to lead the front of house team.
The Committee wishes to acknowledge and thank Matthew Wainwright and the team from First Class Catering in recognition of the long service and loyalty which they have provided to the Club. The current franchise expires at the end of September and therefore provides a natural opportunity to implement the change in arrangements. We wish Matthew every success in pursuance of his other business interests.
New Team Principals:
Steven Wilson, Chef; with 25 years experience in UK and South Africa working in quality and service driven establishments.
Bruno Diaz, Chef; with over 38 years experience working in quality restaurants in the UK and France.
